Ambition PT - Another success story

Hi guys,

I would like to tell you about another one of my fabulous clients. Some of you no doubt already know her as she is a regular and comes along to many different sessions during the week….yes, it’s Rachael!

I first met Rachael back in 2013 when I was fresh faced and new to the country and when I was still struggling to communicate in English!!

Rachael was due to have a knee operation and I had the pleasure of training her for a few months before the operation. During this time, Rachael worked really hard to strengthen her leg muscles which had a major impact on reducing her recovery time after the operation.

After the operation, Rachael decided to join group PT sessions with the goal of losing weight. She did amazingly well at the beginning, not only with her goal of losing weight, but along the way also made some great friends from the group who still train and socialise together today.

After a while, like what happens to many, Rachael plateaued with her weight loss and fitness goals. It was at that point the ‘penny dropped’ for her and she realised the importance that food and alcohol consumption also played when it came to losing weight (yes, something I had been trying to make her see for a while!). She realised she had to have a lot more control when it came to cake and alcohol! I’m sure this is something we can all relate to.

Well, the truth is, it really is true! Combining pushing yourself in your training, with healthy eating WILL bring about amazing results. It might take a bit of time, but with perseverance and consistency, you WILL reach your weight loss goals.

So, Rachael combined training at Ambition PT and the gym, along with cutting out the cake and alcohol and immediately stopped plateauing & saw the weight drop off her. In total she has lost 10lbs (4.5kg), and most importantly dropped 6.3% body fat. She is a lot more confident and much happier with her newer self!

I have to say a big ‘Well done Rachael’ and a big THANK YOU for bringing lots of laughter to our sessions and also for inspiring other friends and family.

Rachael’s favourite groups sessions are Super Circuits and Weight training, but she is also using PT sessions to focus on specific goals. Her main goal now is to maintain a good Fitness level and improve strength and stamina.

If you feel like you are stuck in a rut and not getting anywhere with your fitness, or want help with achieving your fitness goals, whatever they may be, please feel free to contact me at raul@ambitionpt.co.uk or pop into the studio for an informal, no obligation chat.

Look forward to seeing you soon!
