Try this tasty hummus recipe

Raul’s fresh and creamy hummus

Ingredients:

A 400g can of drained chickpeas

2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil

3 tbsp tahini paste (I usually use Sainsburys own brand)

1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed

Juice of 1 lemon

Method:


  1. Rinse the chickpeas under cold water

  2. Blend the chickpeas

  3. Add the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and tahini

  4.  Add 1/4  glass of water (approx. depending on your preferred consistency)

  5. Blend the above until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency


Serve and enjoy with fresh pita or flatbread, or a healthier alternative such as crudités.
